The company produces a variety of different models to suit people’s needs, and they offer their selections at all price points so that there’s something for everyone. Company Background

Chaparral began as Fiberglass Fabricators, founded in the city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At first, the company manufactured many different types of fiberglass products. The son of the founder, William Pegg, decided to hone in the focus on manufacturing fiberglass-hulled boats. His business partner, Reggie Rose, helped to expand the company’s customer base.

In the latter part of the 1960s, the company became Chaparral Boats and suffered a fire that caused them to relocate to another warehouse in Nashville, Georgia. Reggie Rose remained the president until 1977. The company has continued to this day with offerings like their H2O boats becoming popular.

H2O Boats

In 2012, Chaparral released its lineup of speedboats called H2O. Models can be anywhere from 19’ to 23’ in length to allow you to bring many passengers on board. These boats are built with powerful engines as well, so you can tow water skiers or wakesurfers as well.
