2020 Ranger Tugs & Cutwater Boats Factory Rendezvous

September 10, 2020 - September 13, 2020

The final plans and schedule for RENDEZVOUZ 2020 are in the works !!

For more details, please contact:

Sharpen your swords and prepare to hoist the Jolly Roger because this year’s theme is Pirates of the Caribbean!

Post Labor Day is a wonderful time to be in the San Juan Islands, and we’re pleased to once again schedule our 2019 Ranger Tugs & Cutwater Boats Factory Rendezvous in early September.

See you at ROCHE HARBOR !!

We had great feedback on last year’s “Learning Center” series of talks so we will expand those this year, including a longer women’s boating seminar taught by Olinda Blackburn. Garmin will be on-site again to provide service and support and host another informative Garmin electronics seminar. USCG Aux will be on-site to provide vessel exams again. We will have our parts and customer service desks set up and our customer service team will be on the docks.

We’ll be hosting both of our dinners and the Saturday night party in the covered comfort of the spacious event tent on the Seaside Lawn. Roche Harbor has once again, ordered additional tents for this year’s event to ensure an abundance of seating and plenty of room for your dining pleasure!

Expect all of the usual fun and games this year including the always popular blindfolded dinghy race, Roche Harbor scavenger hunt, the competitive cornhole tournament, thousands of dollars worth of prizes and giveaways, and much more!

The President’s Club is back! Ranger Tugs & Cutwater Boats President, John Livingston and Vice President, Jeff Messmer are inviting anyone who is attending to join them by Med-mooring in the President’s Club. 2017 was the inaugural year for the President’s Club which wraps along the main promenade to linear side of C-dock. So, if you want to be in the mix with the top brass, this is the spot to be. If that’s not enough incentive, anyone that stays in the President’s Club will receive priority customer service and technical assistance. There will be a dedicated customer service station and technician available for anyone docked in the President’s Club. You will also get an extra surprise gift and be eligible for daily drawings for free moorage!

Med-mooring (or tying) is common practice in much of the world outside of the Pacific NW. It’s not difficult and does not require the use of an anchor. Roche Harbor will have dock staff available to help you in and out of your spot, get you tied up, and will move your dinghy to the nearby dinghy dock for you when you arrive. There will be plenty of power and water for everyone. We only have 35 spots available in the President’s Club this year. Last year this was a fun, new dimension to the rendezvous! You’ll have the option to reserve your spot in the President’s Club during check-out. The President’s Club is ideal for folks who plan on being moored through the event. If you intend to come and go (fishing, crabbing, etc.) may prefer moorage on the main guest dock.

Roche Harbor Marina has offered free moorage on Wednesday, Sept 4th for boats paying for moorage Thursday through Saturday evenings. During registration please indicate your arrival day. Just as last year, the guest dock is reserved exclusively for us. And the marina docking crew will be on hand to assist. There will be plenty of power, and plenty of room.

You will pay all moorage fees directly to the marina upon your arrival. The dock crew will collect moorage on the docks. Standard moorage fees will apply, and will be based on length overall (LOA). We’ll provide the marina with standard LOA figures for our boats. Register and report in with your boat model.

As you arrive, call Roche Harbor Marina on VHF channel 78A. Give them your boat name and model. The marina dockhands will guide you to your assigned slip and will assist you with docking, if desired. Once docked, marina dockhands will come to your boat to get you registered and collect payment.

PLEASE NOTE: As always, Roche Harbor will do their best to accommodate as many special docking requests as possible. Due to the size of our group, special requests must be fulfilled by order of arrival. Please mention your request to the harbormaster when you radio in. If you have a health or mobility issue please let us know when you register.

The early registration fee is $100.00 per adult and will increase to $125.00 per adult on August 1. Children under 5 are free but need to be registered. Children 5-12 years old are $50.00 each and need to be registered. The fee for 5-12 year old children will not go up August 1.

Last year we had a record-breaking 225 boats and over 500 people in attendance. Due to the size of this event and the joint desire of Roche Harbor Resort and ourselves to deliver the best experience possible for everyone in attendence, we’ve kept our 225 boat maximum for the rendezvous. This ensures there is plenty of food, drink, fun, and furniture for us all.

Food and drinks included with ticket purchase:

Thursday: Welcome Party with heavy appetizers and two drink tickets
Friday: Happy Hour with light appetizers and two drink tickets, Full dinner
Saturday: Happy Hour with light appetizers and margaritas, Full dinner

NOTE: Unfortunately, we will not be able to sell any tickets on-site this year. We are nearly sold out and at maximum capacity for the venue. Please make sure that each person attending the event (including children) are registered through this site. Thank you for your understanding!
